Since the early 20th century when air flight realised,it is endless for human beings to pursuit the flight speed,which from low to high,from subsonic to supersonic,or even to hypersonic.Due to a high flight speed more than 5 Mach,the hypersonic projectile has characteristics of quick response and strong penetration ability.Thus,it can strike remote targets accurately in short time and it has been a new commanding height in the future military warfare.It changes the operational mode of future war and has strategic influences for national security.Aiming at home and abroad about the key technology of hypersonic projectile,it is found that the research of hypersonic projectile is less,especially the research of aerodynamic characteristics and exterior trajectory is almost blank.In this thesis,a kind of subcaliber fin-stabiliaed cone projectile was used as research objective,and its aerodynamics and ballistics characteristics were studied.Thesis mainly includes the following several aspects:1.By adopting surface element method and different calculation methods of pressure coefficients according to different situation of projectile,inviscid aerodynamics characteristics of subcaliber cone projectile was calculated,and the frictional drag and bottom drag of this projectile was calculated with empirical formula.2.The aerodynamic characteristics of different Ma numbers and different angles of attack are simulated.CFD software was used to simulate the model under hypersonic condition,and then drag coefficients and lift coefficients was got,as well as the distribution of flow field in different Mach and angle of attack.Moreover,aerodynamics of hypersonic projectile was analysed.3.External ballistic model of hypersonic projectile was established according its characteristics.with different external ballistic models and its scope of application and assumptions summarized.modeling method of external ballistics was researched.The changes of atmospheric parameters at different altitudes were analyzed,and the model of atmosphere and environment was established.4.Three design variables of hypersonic projectile trajectory design optimization are selected.To determine the impact kinetic energy is maximum as the objective function,the constraint domain is established.The optimization results show that:There is a close relationship between the impact kinetic energy,mass,velocity and quadrant elevation.With the increase of the projectile mass,the impact kinetic energy of hypersonic projectile increases.For the same mass of the projectile in the range of certain circumstances,The higher the quadrant elevation,the higher the velocity of the falling point and the higher the kinetic energy of the impact point.Finally,the maximum kinetic energy of the falling point satisfying the constraint condition is obtained.The optimization model can provide effective tools and methods for other similar optimization problems.
