Urban Traffic State Analysis Based On Mobile Location Data

With the expansion of urban area and the increase of population,traffic of inner city has increasingly becoming the focus of attention.From the perspective of urban residents,how to choose the best traffic travel time,travel mode and travel destination is unable to avoid in the daily life.From the perspective of urban administrators,how to acquire urban traffic status information more accurately and quickly,and also take it as the basis of making transportion policy and providing better traffic service is the key to improve the level of urban service and management.The traditional traffic investigation method has gradually shown the disadvantages of low accuracy,long period,bad real-time performance and so on,which is not enough to meet the increasingly development of transportation planning and management needs.In this paper,the judgement of urban traffic state is based on the real-time location data of mobile terminals,which has the advantages of large data sample amount,small subjective interference,mature technology and wide application range.The main work of this paper is as follows:Firstly,it collects the location data of mobile terminals and set up the database to store it.Secondly,it makes pre-procession of the location data to acquire standard data by removing the error data,and also matches the location data with the urban road network.Finally,it excavates the personal travel trajectory of the mobile terminal users and analyzes the urban traffic status.The final results show that the mobile terminal location data can be applied to the field of traffic survey and traffic analysis well,and can get the real and reliable research results.In this paper,there are two main innovations:Firstly,it designs a kind of map matching algorithm to eliminate the error data from the original data.Secondly,it uses the mobile location data to make quantitative and qualitative analysis of the urban spatial state and the urban traffic state from the perspective of population movement.
