Pre-stressed concrete composite slab with steel ribs(PCSSR slab)includes the bottom concrete panel,steel webs and the top concrete flange,which is made to a whole through the anchorage between steel and concrete.PCSSR slab is a new kind of green,economic composite slab.Compared with the precast floor slab and the existing composite slab,it has prominent advantages of low cost,convenient for construction.To study the flexural performance of this new type of composite slab,this paper has carried out bending test,theoretical analysis and finite element simulation.According to the bending test of 8 full size PCSSR slabs,the bearing capacity,the failure pattern and deflection change of the slab under uniformly distributed load is studied.Parameters such as the thickness of the top flange,the height of the steel web are explored to matter their influences on the bending capacity.Test results show that the failure pattern of the slabs has typical characteristics of bending failure.The flexural capacity can fully meet the requirements of construction and the relevant standards.By increasing the thickness of the top flange and the height of the steel web can obviously improve the flexural capacity and stiffness of the slab.The calculation model and method of the flexural capacity are put forward in a theoretical analysis.The theoretical calculation results are in good agreement with experimental ones,which verify the applicability and safety of the formulas taken from the standards.A numerical simulation on the flexural performance of the PCSSR slab is carried out using the general finite element analysis software of ABAQUS.The spring units defined in the simulation can well simulate the cooperative work performance between steel and concrete in the elastic stage:However,it is still not accurate enough when used in the elastic-plastic stage.Through the finite element simulation,it also confirmed that the way of reinforcement,the hole opened in the web has little effect on the performance of PCSSR slab.These methods can better facilitate the production and construction,which can be used to guide the further design and development in the future.This article also summarizes the production and construction technology,as well as the construction measures and the practical application in related engineering of this new slab.Some outlooks and suggestions are also put forward for the further popularization and application of PCSSR slabs.
