With the rapid development of the unmanned aerial vehicle industry,it occurs occasionally that the UAV flies in the air without order.The airspace resources are optionally occupied,this behavior poses a great threat to other legally flying aircraft,it has caused a lot of safety misadventures.When the UAV is equipped with a flight data recorder,it can collect the information of the latitude and longitude,altitude and attitude angle of the UAV.However,there is little research on the early warning strategy.In order to effectively monitor all UAVs flying in the airspace and prevent the UAVs to break into the set no-fly zone,resulting in unnecessary accidents,we proposed a New Unmanned aerial vehiCLe Early warnIng method for the no-fly zone(NUCLEI)in this paper.The NUCLEI can effectively avoid the UAV flight risks and ensure the safety of other legally flying aircraft.In the first place,We analyzed the research status and technical difficulties of UAV's early warning technology for no-fly zone.And according to the problems of UAV flight trajectory prediction,we had done related theoretical research to lay the foundation for dealing with the early warning and regulatory issues of the UAVs around the no-fly zone.In the next place,we proposed the NUCLEI to make an early warning for the UAVs around the no-fly zone.Firstly,this method transformed the latitude and longitude coordinates of the UAV flight trajectory into the plane rectangular coordinates in the plane right-angle coordinate system by the coordinate transformation and the Gauss projection.And it modified the least squares curve fitting algorithm to predict the UAV flight trajectories around the no-fly zone.Then,the Minimum External RecTangle method(MERT)was adopted to obtain the minimum external rectangle of the electronic fence.We replaced the electronic fence with the minimum external rectangle of the electronic fence approximately.At last,by calculating directly whether the tangent line of the UAV flight trajectory at the current point intersects with the minimum external rectangle of the electronic fence,it can be predicted if the UAV will enter the no-fly zone in this method.At the same time,the feasibility and effectiveness of the proposed method were verified by MATLAB simulation experiment.
