Buffer layer is one of the most important part in organic soalr cells,it is also the emphasis to study during these decades.This work is focus on the improvement of buffer layer in the organic solar cells to enhance the collection and transport efficiency,control the morphology of active layer.It studies two parts below:(1)It can improve the PCE of polymer solar cells by doping different ratio(0.5%,1%,2%,4%)of PEG in PEDOT:PSS.It improves differently by different ratio of PEG,but devices with 1%PEG in PEDOT:PSS has the greatest PCE among these ratios.The PCE of the devices with 1%PEG improves 12%compare with none PEG devices.It aims to change the conductivity of PEDOT:PSS and improve the phase separation between PEDOT and PSS.The addition of PEG can decrease charge accumulation at the interface between PEDOT:PSS and active layer,so it has better channels for electrons.It is beneficial for electrode to collect electrons and holes.It certainty improve the PCE of devices,we can see it by C-V test,EQE test,Absorption tests and so on,to see the adding of PEG makes devices having higher PCE and less electron accumulation.It actually helpful for polymer solar cells.(2)The structure of the devices is ITO/PEDOT:PSS(1%PEG)/PTB7:PC70BM/LiF/Al.Testing different parameters of devices by changing different conditions.In these tests,it mainly directed to study the influence of different temperature of DIO,adding DIO at different time and different solvents.It has not very huge disparity among these conditions,C-V tests,EQE tests,absorption tests can prove the effect of addition DIO.Addition is one of the most effective way to improve the performance of polymer solar cells,it also improve the organic solar cells.It mainly studies the influence of adding PEG and the effect of DIO in solvent.They all played a big role in the improvement of polymer solar cells.
