Since the reform and opening-up,China's economy and society have been in the stage of rapid development.As a weak link in the development of our country,rural development has always been the focus of attention by society and the people.The implementation of a number of major initiatives in the country to accelerate rural development has led to a new stage of rural development.In the face of increasing development and increased industrial loads and living loads,power units require an existing network to provide high quality of electric energy.However,the current rural power grid has been difficult to meet the current needs of rural development,so the transformation of rural power grids to improve its power supply quality is imperative.From the current situation of rural areas in China and the characteristics of rural power grid,coupled with distributed power which has its own characteristics of flexibility,economy and environmental protection,it provides a new way of thinking to improve the rural power grid.And there are many successful stories of distributed generation used in transforming the power grid at home and abroad.Foreign countries which include the United States,Japan and Denmark,have made full use of distributed energy sources such as wind energy,solar energy,natural gas supply and hydropower generation to improve the power grid and achieved certain results.In addition,distributed power was also used in the grid at home.All mentioned above provide a strong evidence for the development of distributed power to improve the rural power grid.This paper researches on distributed generation to improve the quality of power in medium and low voltage rural power grids.Based on the current situation of China's rural power grid,this paper analyzes the specific problems of rural power grid in China.Through the analysis of the main indexes of power supply quality,the mathematical model of voltage quality and voltage sag is established.The influences of power system harmonic source,agricultural power load and resident load on power supply quality and distributed power supply are analyzed.According to the actual situation of rural power grid reconstruction and the principle of distributed generation supply selection,this paper defines the distributed generation type which is suitable for China's national conditions and rural power grid.In this paper,an improved adaptive multi-population genetic algorithm is used to study the location and capacity of distributed generation,and the simulink simulation module in MATLAB is used to simulate the distributed power supply systembefore and after the rural power grid.It is concluded that the distributed generation can effectively improve the quality of rural power supply.
