Disc braking equipments have some advantages such as simple structure, easy to maintain and reliability that other braking device have not.It had been applied extensively in high speed train.Disc braking equipments is the key to ensure safe operation of high speed train, and the research of disc invalid is always the curx of railway speed-up and safe operation. The failure mode of disc is thermal crack propagation caused by thermal fatigue. So,it has great engineering significance in preventing thermal fatigue, increasing the reliablity of disc, choosing brake disc material and optimizing disc structure to analyze brake disc temperature field in the braking process. On the basis of literature review, this article had put forward a new method that firstly simulates the flow field of brake disc and calculates the surface air velocity of brake disc, and then calculates convective heat transfer coefficient that changes with time and brake disc radial distance.Compared with previous literature, the convective heat transfer coefficient calculated in this article more accord with effective. In the aspect of heat flux, traditional method is energy conversion algorithm. But this article utilizes infinitesimal method to calculate heat flux. The heat flux calculated by infinitesimal method is able to reflect the radial distribution on brake disc.In the aspect of thermal radiation, the article translated the thermal radiation coefficient to convective heat transfer coefficient. This practice avoided high nonlinear in the analysis and leaded convergence easily of calculation. After determined the convective heat transfer coefficient, heat flux and thermal radiation coefficient, this article bulit three-dimensional model of brake disc and cyclic symmetry finite element model and simulated brake disc temperature field under some braking condition.
