With the rapid development of contemporary society and economy,the natural form structure,the connectivity of the river and lake system are changing gradually,under more and more disturbance conducted by human beings.In addition,the situation of water resources is getting more and more serious.Being as a strategy under the new situation,Interconnected River System Network is a focus of water resource governance and management in the future,which is closely related to the distribution of water resources,flood disaster risk and aquatic ecological environment.There are natural river system and artificial river system spread complexly all over Huaihe River Basin,and the flood disasters occur endlessly in history.Besides in recent years,water pollution breaks out frequently and there are a large number of dams,which all have an influence on the formation of river system,form structure developing process and pattern of connectivity.Taking Huaihe River Basin as a study case,river system evolution and connectivity affected by human activities are studied in this paper,which is typical.The research results can provide theoretical support for the relevant work of river system construction,and technical support for finding out the influence which nature and human activities setting on river system form,structure and connectivity.The main contents are as following:(1)On the base of reading and summing-up related references,the major factors which impact on the evolution of river system in Huaihe River Basin is concluded,which lays a foundation for the following research work.(2)The river system of Huaihe River Basin is extracted from DEM by using ArcGIS,and then overlay and correct it with the actual river system;basing on the fractal theory and taking the construction of artificial river system into consideration,the box dimensions of natural and artificial river system in 13 water resource divisions are calculated and analyzed;the correlation analysis between box dimension and indexes which is used for characterizing the form structure of river system inlandscape ecology is made,and it can provide a rationality for choosing the box dimension as a characterization index.(3)Basing on the graph theory and taking the construction of dam in the Huaihe River Basin into consideration,the connectivity of river system influenced by dams or not in 13 water resource divisions are calculated and analyzed;the correlation analysis between the connectivity and indexes which is used for characterizing the connectivity of river system in landscape ecology is made,and it can provide a rationality for choosing the connectivity which put forward based on the graph theory as a characterization index.(4)Using the SPSS software,the correlation analysis between box dimensions basing on the fractal and the river system connectivity basing on graph is worked out,and the results are analyzed and summarized preliminarily.
