Study On The Construction Of Suction Bucket Foundation For Offshore Wind Tur Bine

Suction caissons have been widely used in offshore structures.Penetration of suction anchors,driven into a desired position in the seabed by the suction,is a key factorfor the design.It is necessary for the capacity and the designed position to meet the needs.Researchers domestically and internationally have focused their attention on thevertical installation instead of the oblique installation e.This study shows the influence of suction and penetration depth on the result of penetration in the natural medium-coarse sand.In the model test of oblique penetration,the effect of suction,the penetration depth and angle is obtained.The formation of water/soil plug is observed by using Perspex suction anchors,andreasons for preventing the penetration of suction anchors are analyzed.Compared with the jacking tests,the seepage induced byvacuum plays a vital role in assisting the suction anchors to achieve the penetration in the fine sand.
