Now,there are many patients suffering from Atrial Fibrillation which is a common type of arrhythmia and the risk of getting this disease increases sharply with age.However all kinds of AF therapy currently used can't solve the severe treatment situation,for example drug treatment cannot effect a radical cure and long-term medication have serious side effects;Although catheter ablation have fine therapeutic result to paroxysmal AF,the cost of the treatment is high;The Surgical MAZE procedure is poor in long-term effect and result in seriously-injured in the body;So it is of great practical significance to exploring a effectiveness and low-cost atrial fibrillation therapy.Traditional Chinese medicine found that using acupuncture to stimulate some acupuncture points mostly surrounded by nervous tissue have a good inhibition effect on AF.Western medicine confirmed that low-intensity stimulating some vagus nerves can effectively inhibit the occurrence of atrial fibrillation,which doesn't derails the normal function of the nerve.However there remains very limited knowledge concerning on whether low-intensity stimulating upper limb peripheral nerve could effectively inhibition the occurrence of atrial fibrillation until now.So the purpose of this paper is to develop a wearable nerve electrical stimulator at first,then we will use the stimulator to generate widely used low-intensity square wave to stimulate the radial nerve of experimental dog in order to find out whether the way could effectively inhibit the occurrence of atrial fibrillation.This paper designed a set of wearable neural electrical stimulator which can be wireless control.The electrical stimulation created by the stimulator can be regulated within 0 to 20V,and the output direction could be reversible;The stimulus frequency could be changed between 0-200Hz and the pulse width also could be adjusted;The way of animal experiment and its results are as follows:the experiment found that atrial electrical remodeling happened in the canine atrium under the effect of long-time atrial fibrillation after 2 hour of rapid atrial pacing(RAP),which will make AF more likely to happen and sustain.When 30%or 50%for the nerve threshold of low intensity electrical stimulation which is 20 Hz 0.1 ms were given to radial nerve stem last one hour by the nerve stimulator,and at the same time AF occurred in the process.It's turn out that radial nerve electrical stimulation significantly reduces the rhythm of the heart,which reduces the frequency of fibrillation cardiac;The threshold which can induced AF in some points of atrial also rebounded significantly,which means myocardial will vibrate under stronger stimulation;The downward trends of the effective refractory period(ERP)in some points of atrial overall became slower,and some point even rebound;While WOV changes differently due to the difference of stimulus threshold,which means that curative effect is different at various points.The experiment confirmed that the nerve stimulation instrument can slow and even stop the disease,but need to find a better stimulation way found by more animal experiments.The exploratory experiment has high innovative and important practical significance,which provides a new method for the treatment of atrial fibrillation.
