Self Expression In The Interactive Art

As a newly developing subject,the birth and development of Interactive Art connects closely with the media.Both of the people's opinions to the New Media and its influence on people's life push the birth of New Media.With the development of technology,the New Media comes to the world,including the media of sound,image,internet,then comes the new audience,of which the process cycles.In the area of Interactive Art,the relation between artist and audience changes a lot,comparing with the traditional one.The audience can get involved into the process of interaction,being an integral part of the art work.Take the Interactive Installation as example,the involvement of the audience becomes the necessary part of the art work while the latter is not so important.the feelings and meanings,which can cross the different zone and time,the question and thoughts it raises are the core value actually.This thesis begins with the relation between the Interactive Art and traditional art,with the cases of the Interactive art work,and mainly talks about the commons and differences between them,and also talk about the expression of self and its essence.
