Thin steel plate sheathed cold-formed steel wall has developed quickly as its advantages such as light weight,good fireproof performance,green environmental protection,better seismic performance,it is mainly composed of cold-formed thin-walled steel frame and wall panel connected with self-drilling screw.However,the research on thin steel plate sheathed cold-formed steel wall has just begun with few achievements.In order to promote the development of cold-formed thin-walled steel composite wall in China,the connection performance test and finite element analysis of cold-formed thin-walled steel wall with thin steel plate are carried out.The shear strength formula of wall is analyzed and compared and verification.Specific content was just as follows:(1)11 steel plate and studs connection tests were made,the screw spacing,the size of the corrugated plate,corrugated shape were varied to analyze the effect on shear capacity.The results show tensile strength and initial stiffness of the specimen increase with the decrease of the screw spacing.The corrugated spacing increases and the initial stiffness decreases.The corrugate is gradually flattened,stiffness of the specimen become larger with load increasing.The stiffness of the corrugated steel plate specimens are similar at the ultimate bearing capacity.The corrugated type has little effect on load capacity(2)Thin steel plate sheathed cold-formed steel wall was numerical simulated with varied parameters to analyze influence on shear capacity,the simulation results show that the reduction of the screw spacing,the increase of the column thickness,the reduction of the column spacing,and the increase of the strength of the column can obviously improve the shear capacity of the wall.The shear strength of the wall is less than 2:1,and shear capacity of the panel is larger than that of the wall.The shear capacity of longitudinal corrugated wall is larger than that of transverse corrugated wall.(3)Four types of foreign and domestic shear bearing capacity formula methods of the wall were introduced and analyzed,the results showed that the effective strip method could better be accorded with the simulation and experimental data,correction coefficient values were proposed in the method of overall analysis and the method of shear flow analysis when sheathed with sheet steel.
