Urbanization has led to the development of intensive urban centers,spatial growth has become increasingly prominent,the urban environment,especially the thermal environment problems with the significant impact on the development of the region.Related phenomena are widely concerned by experts and scholars.On the basis of summarizing relevant scientific research achievements and materials,this paper makes use of the relevant theoretical knowledge,treatment and calculation methods of urban building space,green space and thermal environment to carry on the thorough analysis to the urban space growth characteristic and thermal environment effect in Zhongshan district,and get a number of conclusions as follows:(1)From 2003 to 2014,the urban space of Zhongshan district increased significantly,and the growth of urban building space was mainly vertical,the evolution rate of green space was relatively small.In 2014,the completion of the Donggang sub-district so that the regional pattern from the "northwest high" directly to the "North High" transition.It is foreseeable that the future urban form of Zhongshan will be simplified as "North high south low",space growth will also be mainly vertical growth.(2)From 2003 to 2014,the thermal environment evolution of the study area is the environmental effect caused by the combination of architectural space evolution and green space evolution.The effect of the thermal environment effect caused by the vertical growth of the building space and the decrease of the green space resulting in reduced risk of low temperature supplement.The regional temperature pattern of the study area is transformed from "northwest high-south low-middle transition" to "north high south low".In the transformation of the thermal environment pattern,the completion and development of Donggang sub-district plays a decisive role.(3)The spatial and temporal characteristics of urban space growth and thermal environment evolution in Zhongshan district can be seen.In 2014,the completion of Donggang sub-district is an important node in the development of Zhongshan district,which affects the speed,direction and mode of urban development in Zhongshan.Thus,the development model of the study area is shifted from the fan-shaped three-layer structure to the upper-lower bipolar structure.The regional development speed will be accelerated,the regional development direction from the "northwest to south" development into "northwest-northeast" connection development,the gap between the north and south development degree increases.(4)The spatial growth and thermal environment evolution of Zhongshan district in Dalian are the result of the combination of natural,historical,policy,social,economic and cultural factors.Under the restriction and inheritance of natural and historical factors,the development of Zhongshan district in the study period is dominated by the influence of policy factors,which is influenced by social,economic and cultural factors,and gradually forms the present development effect and effect.Its development process is constantly debugging,constantly updated process.
