In recent years,performance-based seismic design theory and method is generally accepted,scholars from all over the world put forward the design theories of different structures,such as based on the displacement,energy or damage,ect.Literature6 introduces the cumulative ductility ratio spectrum and the hysteretic energy spectra,and put forward a seismic design method of K type steel eccentrically braced frame which is under far field.It needs to study whether the seismic anti-collapse capacity of the structure is enough to be accepted by the society.The seismic anti-collapse capacity of the performance-based seismic design method of K type steel eccentrically braced frame is studied according to seismic collapse assessment system of FEMAP695 and incremental dynamic analysis method(IDA).Choosing enough seismic waves from the assessment system of FEMAP695 and a reasonable structural collapse evaluation criteria to analyze the seismic anti-collapse capacity and the collapse probability of the performance-based seismic design method of ten-story and fifteen-story K type steel eccentrically braced frames.The results verify the feasibility of the method from the literature6.
