With the acceleration of urbanization process in China,low head large pumping station is playing an increasingly important role in the city flood control and drainage aspects.Tianjin to improve flood control and drainage system and improve the ability to cope with extreme weather,to ease pressure on the Haihe River drainage,construction estuary pumping station is necessary.Through engineering practice,for hydraulic machinery section estuary pumping station carried out a detailed design,the main contents are as follows:From the engineering point of view,combining the hydrogeological conditions of the Tianjin Haihe River Basin,for hydraulic machinery design part of the Tianjin Haihe River estuary pumping station project conducted in-depth research on this low-lift pumping station high flow pump and optimization and selection program selection,combined with application characteristics shaft tubular pump to determine the mechanical parameters of various hydraulic pump station.In order to provide better water pump conditions,the pumping station inlet and outlet conduit conduct CFD optimized design.The use of computational fluid dynamics method and FLUENT,select the hydraulic model for the estuaries feature lift pumping station,the water pump impeller,diffuser and inlet and outlet conduit and door ducts flow components as a full-runner numerical whole pump system calculated to achieve hydraulics channel device performance optimization,the flow path control reasonable size,smooth runner profile to minimize hydraulic losses of the flow channel,to provide better access to water conditions,and strive to enhance the efficiency of the pump means.With using TJ04-ZL-07 hydraulic model,complete pump unit energy characteristics,cavitation characteristics and runaway performance test.According to the test result means the model depicted shaft tubular pumping estuaries and Prototype overall performance curves,cavitation performance curve,runaway characteristic curve,according to the corresponding test data to prove Shaft tubular pump system model runs smoothly,the hydraulic performance than good,reasonable pump selection,into and out of hydraulic design to meet the design requirements.
