With the rapid development of China's wind power industry,the mechanical braking system of wind turbine is one of the most important components of wind turbine,its performance directly affects the work efficiency and safety of wind power generator.The mechanical brake current of DFIG is frequently put into use caused by mechanical brake wear serious,resulting in maintenance costs increase,while the gear box fan frequently suffered reverse load impact caused by gearbox life is not up to the design requirements is becoming more and more serious,how to solve this problem has become the wind power industry generally face the problem.The basic principle and function of the mechanical brake system based on the reference of direct drive unit on the mechanical brake system of DFIG are analyzed from the current situation,safety and economy aspects,put forward the improvement scheme of mechanical braking system of DFIG and experiments,and achieved the expected results.This paper analyzes the main components of different classification and fan fan,and the fan brake system components and technical requirements and control methods are analyzed in detail,which focuses on the aerodynamic and mechanical braking system principle and action mode.According to the difference of DFIG and direct drive unit of mechanical brake system analysis result and the disadvantages of the existing mechanical braking system of DFIQ draw on the advantages of direct drive unit is proposed to improve the ideas,according to the different control mode of DFIG variable pitch system put forward targeted improvement programs.The mechanical brake system of double fed generator as the main object of study,from the mechanical brake system of the generator speed changes before and after the improvement,the gearbox change,impact load on unit economy and influence on other parts of the unit are analyzed in detail.According to the two kinds of improved scheme comparison and analysis results,the test selection of DFIG in a domestic wind field,the mechanical brake system is improved,and the improved effect is summarized,to achieve the desired effect after improvement of economic benefit and maintenance costs.
