With the change of the season,the water quality of the water treatment plant with the water source of the Yellow River Reservoir fluctuates greatly,mainly in turbidity,permanganate index(CODMn)and high ammonia nitrogen.The existing water treatment methods are unable to meet the requirement of drinking water health standards(GB5749-2006),including coagulation,sedimentation,filtration and disinfection drinking water produced by the process.It becomes very urgent to the project of some old water treatment plant renovation.Take a Henan water purification plant renovation project as the background,this paper is composed of two parts,including the experiment and Optimization of water treatment plant design.The part of experiment,the experimental part is aim to the project that the water treatment plant renovation is not upgrade completely and deteriorated water quality circumstances,determine the best way to put the drug,reduce the load of the follow-up structures and meet the requirements of water quality standards.Through the comparison of coagulant,carry out experimental research respectively: combined with powdered activated carbon and PAC;combined with potassium permanganate(KMNO4),powdered activated carbon and PAC,In order to determine the best dosing and the best dosing point of PAC,powdered activated carbon and potassium permanganate.(1)The results of coagulation test of PAC and ferrous sulfate(Fe SO4)show that the coagulation effect of PAC is better than ferrous sulfate.Under the condition of water turbidity of 14.90 NTU,the optimum dosage of PAC is 30mg/L,when the optimum amount of PAC is added,the turbidity of the effluent is 1.62 NTU and the removal rate is 87%.(2)The results of the combination of PAC and powdered activated carbon show that under the condition of influent CODMn of 4.88mg/L and turbidity of 14.9NTU,the concentration of CODMn and turbidity is the lowest with 10mg/L dosage of activated carbon,it is respectively 3.11mg/L and 0.64 NTU with 36% and 96%removal rates.When the concentration of CODMn and turbidity is respectively4.72mg/L and 17.1NTU,it is best that the addition of activated carbon is earlier5~15min than the addition of PAC,the concentration of CODMn and turbidity is respectively 2.77mg/L and 0.6NTU with 41% and 97% removal rates.(3)The results of the combination of PAC,KMNO4 and powdered activated carbon showed that under the condition of influent turbidity of 11.20 NTU,ammonia nitrogen of 0.73mg/L and CODMn of 5.00mg/L,the concentration of turbidity and ammonia nitrogen and CODMn is the lowest with 1mg/L KMNO4,it is respectively1.1NTU,0.53mg/L and 3.2mg/L with 85%,67% and 38% removal rates.When the concentration of turbidity,ammonia nitrogen and CODMn and is respectively10.10 NTU,0.59mg/L and 4.96mg/L,it is best that the addition of KMNO4 is earlier15 min than the addition of activated carbon,the concentration of turbidity,ammonia nitrogen and CODMn and is respectively 1.08 NTU,0.03mg/L and 3.12mg/L with 89%,94% and 37% removal rates.The part of Optimization about water treatment plant operation and process design,when the results were applied to practical engineering,the average removal rate of turbidity increased from 92% to 96%,and the average removal rate of CODMn increased from 35% to 43%.In the transformation and expansion of the water treatment plant,focusing on the long-term goal of water quality improvement,the use of intensive conventional treatment increases the depth of the process design process,we can adjust to achieve water quality standards by the chemical when the project is not completed.
