| With the rapid development of China’s economy,the process of urban modernization is accelerating,and the application of power cables has become more and more extensive.However,the power cable in the course of the operation,often there will be a variety of failures,damage the normal operation of the power system,and even damage the equipment,if the fault due to prolonged existence and will not be resolved,will cause unnecessary Economic losses.In order to meet the needs of the user’s power supply and the safe and stable operation of the power system,quickly and accurately detect the location of the power cable fault point,is conducive to the timely elimination of failure,to avoid damage to the cable in the transmission line.Aiming at the big error of power cable fault location,this paper presents a new method based on FIMD and wavelet transform modulus maxima derivative for double-terminal traveling wave fault location in power cable fault location.The distribution network fault location methods are explored,through analysis of the failure process,principle of fault traveling wave is obtained,by a traveling wave type method of fault of distribution network fault location.The results meet the certain degree of accuracy,completes the fault location.At first,this paper expatiates on the distance measurement technology of power cable at home and abroad,introduces the fault type of the cable and the cause of the fault.Based on this model,the PSCAD simulation software was used to establish the model of the power cable,and the phase change of the current mutations at each measuring point was carried out,and the data was optimized and processed by Matlab.Then,the FIMD and the wavelet transform modulus The time of the fault can be obtained by the singular point of the first transient traveling wave and the time of the initial traveling wave arriving at both ends of the line is determined.Then,the modified double-ended line Wave ranging algorithm to calculate the fault distance.At the same time,this paper carries on the hardware and the software design to the power line on-line monitoring system,and carries on the equipment selection to the designed device,and carries on the function description;Combines the software technology,carries on the software design to the fault location system,,The effective combination of hardware to achieve the fault data collection and analysis.Finally,the algorithm used in this paper is verified and analyzed,and the actual fault distance is compared with the measured data.The error is less than 0.4%,which fully satisfies the expected target,which is helpful to improve the fault location accuracy.It is feasible for fault location system of power cables,and it provides theoretical value for fault location of power cables. |
