In the process of electric vehicles,battery pack continuous discharge,especially during acceleration,climbing and other conditions frequently large current discharge.Discharge process,the internal battery electrochemical reaction occurs rapidly heat,rapid temperature rise,high temperature will lead to decreased battery life and capacity,and even cause the battery pack to ignite.Therefore design effective battery thermal management system for a battery pack cooling and temperature control to keep the battery pack performance and highly efficient and stable operation of electric vehicles is important.Battery thermal management requirements are based on the heat generating mechanism of the battery,the battery pack to ensure that each single cell within a reasonable temperature range at the same time try to keep the temperature uniformity within each battery pack and battery modules.Current battery cooling system is mainly focused on the selection and design of the cooling system structure of a cooling medium,and thermal management strategy and the temperature control algorithm research there is still much room for improvement.In this paper,taking the basis of multiple parallel cooling circuits,using a uniform cooling of the strategy to ensure the consistency of each branch coolant flow rate to improve battery pack temperature control uniformity contributed.This paper analyzes the mechanism of the heat cell,based on the battery charging and discharging process heat generation models and conservation of energy,the establishment of a battery thermal model,to ensure the validity and accuracy on the basis of the model must be simplified in order to direct the analytical solution of the battery temperature,provide the basis for the battery pack's temperature control algorithm design estimates and cooling system.Built in AMESim simulation model of the battery cooling system,combined with electric vehicles and electric vehicle models operating conditions,establish a reasonable cooling method,design and optimize the structure of the cooling system.Battery thermal model has been established based on the structure and the corresponding cooling system,temperature control algorithm design,simulation and off-line algorithm in MATLAB,establish binding model AMESim battery pack cooling system,to verify the validity and robustness of the algorithm,and parameters and structural adjustment and correction algorithms.
