The development of economy is unbalanced in different regions owe to vast territory of China.The coastal area economy of China is better than western region.So the develop-the-west strategy was implemented.The high speed railway with fastest,safety and environmental protection characteristics has became important bridge to link western and eastern region.The request of high speed railway power supply system is stricter because of the western climate.The oil immersed inverted current transformer is a kind of electrical equipment as detection and protection in high speed railway power supply system.The operation of transformer concerns to the reliability and security of power supply system.According to the application of oil immersed inverted current transformer,most faults was caused by breakdown of insulation material.It is important to obtain the insulating properties of materials used in western region.In order to research the insulating properties of oil immersed inverted current transformer,the characteristic of western climate factor have been take into consider in this paper.The moisture of transformer insulation material is disposed.The insulating properties of oil-impregnated paper and oil-impregnated semiconducting paper were measured through broadband dielectric impedance spectrometer under different temperature and moisture.In measurement process,the frequency domain spectroscopy(FDS)is used.The experimental data including permittivity,conductivity and tan? of insulation material were obtained.The changes of insulation material's dielectric spectrum are discussed.Meanwhile,the reasons of these changes are analyzed.The relatively comprehensive data of this transformer applied in western region is obtained through the experiment.Based on these experimental data,the insulation of oil immersed inverted current transformer head was analyzed by finite-element analysis in this paper.The electric potential and voltage drop between insulating layers were obtained under different temperature,moisture and working condition.According to the simulating results,the voltage drop rise when temperature and moisture increased would have effect on insulating properties.
