| Faced with the increasingly serious environmental problems,people have a higher demand for energy utilization and emissions of pollutants,and vehicle exhaust emissions is one of the main sources of urban air pollution.The exhaust with smoke is primarily due to the insufficient combustion of the fuel in the engine,resulting in the release of harmful gases and particulates into the air.Therefore,trying to find a new type of igniter to replace the traditional spark plug igniter,to achieve the effect of promoting combustion and reduce emissions is the national research scholars are exploring the problem.This paper designs electrospark interlocking microwave discharge plasma for the engine ignition and assisted combustion device,with a large area of ignition,to promote combustion,stability and control,etc.,is expected to become an alternative to spark plug ignition to reduce vehicle exhaust emissions of the new ignition.In this paper,based on the study of spark discharge and microwave discharge,the characteristics of the two discharge modes are discussed,and the feasibility analysis of ignition of electrospark interlocking microwave discharge plasma,and designs the relevant studying project.The main work done is:First,design of the electrospark interlocking microwave discharge plasma device,introduced its composition structure and working principle,put forward the experimental program on mechanism study of electrospark interlocking microwave discharge plasma;Secondly,Ansoft HFSS software was used to model and simulate the resonance parameters and electromagnetic field distribution of the microwave in the combustion chamber of the engine,the simulation results show that the resonant frequency and the quality factor and the actual calculation value of the resonant cavity are within a certain error range,and the convergence is obvious and can be used in practical application,which provides the theory for later experiments;finally,the experimental platform of electrospark interlocking microwave discharge plasma was built,the cylindrical microwave resonator was used instead of the engine combustion chamber,through the installation of temperature and pressure sensor,and experimental data of pressure change in the cavity were collected under different initial pressure and different microwave incident power,draw the corresponding curve,at the same time,the high speed camera is used to capture the image of ignition and combustion in the resonator.Based on the comparison and analysis of the experimental results,it is proved that the electrospark interlocking microwave discharge plasma ignition has the advantages of greater ignition area,faster ignition speed and higher combustion efficiency than the spark plug ignition.It is proved that the electrospark interlocking microwave discharge plasma the feasibility of ignition and assisted combustion. |
