Cable-stayed bridge is one of the most preferred type of modern long-span bridges.Problems of design and construction of cable-stayed bridge are becoming more and more important with the increase of span length.Here,the concrete cable-stayed bridge constructed in Xuancheng city is used as prototype bridge,the main content of this paper is presented as follow:Firstly,the evolution,characteristics and developing tendency of cable-stayed bridge are summarized.In addition,the background and content of this paper are presented.Secondly,the whole bridge model is established by using the finite element software,and the parametric values of the bridge are determined.The responses of the bridge,such as cable force,girder displacement etc,at different construction phase are investigated.Thirdly,the parametric sensitivity is conducted to recognize the critical parameters of the bridge at the state of finished bridge and maximal cantilever.It can facilitate monitoring the critical parameters during construction phase,thus,the designed force and displacement of the bridge can be achieved.Fourthly,the cable forces of the bridge are determined during construction phase with construction the safety of the main girder and hanging basket.The action of front and back supported hanging baskets are simulated by finite element software,and the responses are compared for these two methods.The effect of cable sag on the force and inclined angle are also studied,and the relationship of nominal cable force and construction cable force can be obtained.Finally,the effect of the variation of the environment humidity on the concrete shrinkage-creep is analyzed based on the concrete shrinkage-creep models of China Specifications released in 2004 and 1985,CEB-FIP in 1990,and Japan Specification.And the cable force distribution with consideration the effect of concrete shrinkage-creep can be obtained.
