As a reinforcing steel reinforcement and restoration method,carbon fiber composite materials(CFRP)technology has unique advantages and it had became a hot research topic in recent years.Based on it,the paper mainly studies the mechanical properties of square steel tube reinforced with CFRP under eccentric compression.Although both at home and abroad,there have been some experimental studies on member reinforced with CFRP under Eccentric compression,but most of the research is on the mechanical properties of concrete structural members reinforced with CFRP under eccentric compression,and there is less research on steel structure members reinforced with CFRP under eccentric compression.In this paper,the CFRP reinforced eccentric compressive square tubular column member has been studied based on theoretical analysis,experimental research methods and finite element software simulation.The degree of support for different eccentricities,CFRP paste layers and the central hoop member are discussed on the ultimate strength and failure form of the steel column after reinforcement in this paper.The research results has been summarized in this paper and after comparison of domestic and foreign scholars,a formula has been proposed in terms of compression section method to determine the UK Building Industry Research and Information Association(CIRIA)based on the theory,the holding load conditions CFRP Reinforcement under Eccentric Compression stability capacity square column formulas has been proposed;research support under eccentric load CFRP reinforced square tubular column of compression test,the ultimate eccentric compression members reinforced stability Bearing Capacity of theoretical formula has been amended.Finally,using the finite element analysis software ANSYS,the finite element model of "shell-spring-shell" is established to simulate the eccentric compression test,and validate the theoretical formula revised.The research results of this paper will propose a theoretical basis for Practical engineering application,and propose a theoretical and experimental basis for the compiling of national standard of “Code for design of strengthening steel structure”.
