In real production life,the contact between the cylinder and the plane is very common.It has a wide range of practical applications,such as the contact between the roller and the ring in the cylindrical roller bearings,the contact between the parts of the tooth Etc.This contact can effectively reduce the friction,reduce the rotation torque.However,this kind of contact method will reduce the service life of the structure because of the fatigue damage on the contact surface,which will affect the normal operation of the relevant machinery and equipment,especially for some high precision mechanical equipment,which directly affects the precision of its product processing.In this paper,according to the theory of contact mechanics,the problem of contact fatigue between the cylinder and the plane is analyzed by finite element method,and the generation of fatigue damage is revealed.Aiming at the static friction contact system composed of cylindrical and flat plate,the finite element method is used to simulate the fatigue failure in the contact area under the periodic cyclic pressure load,and the fatigue life at the contact under the test load is predicted And the distribution of damage and so on.The life curve of the material used in the experiment and the life curve obtained by the finite element analysis are also plotted.After comparison,the finite element method can predict the contact between the cylinder and the plate The system produces fatigue damage site and fatigue life,and thus can help us improve the efficiency of design research and development products,reduce design costs.For a sliding friction contact system composed of a cylinder and a flat plate,a horizontal velocity v is applied to the plate,and the other conditions remain unchanged.The finite element method is used to keep the load on the static load and the cyclic load under the contact fatigue problems were simulated,and the simulation results were also analyzed in detail.In the static friction contact system,the center of the contact area is prone to fatigue damage,and in the sliding friction contact system,the site where the fatigue damage is easy is the leading edge of the contact area,and in the case of the friction contact system,Under the same external load,the static friction contact system is more prone to fatigue damage than the sliding friction contact system.In this paper,the relevant research and the results obtained,the research analysis methods can provide a certain reference for cylindrical,tapered roller bearings and other related research.
