Study On The Present Situation Of The Space Function Of Main Entrance In Guangzhou's Residential Area

The main entrance is an important part of the residential area,and the transition between the residential area and urban space.With the rapid development of housing commercialization,the main entrance of the the residential area has taken place great changes,and its functions also have developed from the original single until now the diversification coexist.The main entrance of the commercial residential area in the region where the population density has ranked in the top eight in Guangzhou are investigated by taking pictures,surveying and mapping,observing,questioning survey methods.,and the investigation data were analyzed.The article is divided into five chapters,including introduction,related concepts and theories,the components and functions of the main entrance,the investigations and analysis of the cases,the problems of function of the main entrance and the promotion strategy.Firstly,the history and evolution of the entrance space are traced back,and the entrance space and function of China and west in each different historical period are summarized,secondly the concept of the main entrance space of the residential area is defined,finally its components and functions were classified and researched systematically.On this basis,the residents' satisfaction of main entrance function are analyzed and summarized.Finally,the article combined with the function analysis of the main entrance of the residential area which have been investigated,and it is concluded that high satisfaction of main entrance features :(1)The main entrance has broadest space;(2)The car shunt way of traffic organization is adopted;(3)The gatehouse is set,and electronic defense system is installed;(4)The marking scale is properly,and it has characteristic,and its position is eye-catching.(5)The main entrance style is consistent with the overall landscape style of the community,and it is suitable for soft and hard elements.This paper analyzes and sums up the problems in the main entrance function of residential quarter:(1)The traffic function includes the lack of the motorway and the small amount of the channel and the low space.(2)The safety defense function mainly is the guard room's location setting is too concealed;(3)The marking function includes the indication consciousness is not strong,the mark position and the design is improper;(4)The landscape function includes the design scale uncoordinated and the design attention immediate effect,(5)The derivative function ismissing.In order to provide a useful reference for the function design and construction practice of the main entrance of residential quarters in our country in the future.
