With the increasing mileage of highway tunnels and under situations of energy shortage and high lighting operating costs,lighting energy-saving technology research for highway tunnel has attracted more and more attentions from various fields in the society.The major research topic during current stage of effective reduction in tunnel operating costs is to use road tunnel lighting energy-saving technology to achieve the optimization of energy saving without hindering traffic safety.Based on the research Fuling Bai Tao Tunnel Group Project,this paper studies the key energy saving technologies for safe operation lighting.The main work and research results are as follows:(1)This paper introduces the general situation of Bai Tao Tunnel Group Project,and divides the tunnel group according to the "Highway Tunnel Lighting Design Rules".When the calculation method of brightness and length is given,the paper carries out checking calculation on the brightness and length of lighting section of each tunnels among Bai Tao Tunnel Group as well as scientific review on its lighting operation system.(2)This paper describes the performance of the commonly used lighting source,carries out comparison analysis on the commonly used high pressure sodium lamp and LED lamp with new light source,and puts forward the index and method of the comparison of the illumination source of Bai Tao Tunnel Group.The DIALux software is used to carry out simulation experiment on light source of the high pressure sodium lamp and the LED light,and the results show that LED has a higher luminous efficiency,energy saving advantages and color rendering properties superior to high pressure sodium lamp.When only considering arrangement of the vault partial single-light band,entrance section 1 of each tunnel among Bai Tao Tunnel Group may be equipped with high pressure sodium lamp while other sections of the tunnel may be established with LED lamps.(3)This paper discusses the arrangement of the tunnel lighting fixture and the stroboscopic effect which should be considered during lighting arrangement.It carries out comparative study on the effects of symmetrical arrangement,staggered arrangement central arrangement and central partial single light band arrangement.It verifies the reason why Bai Tao Tunnel Group adopts the central partial light band arrangement and analyzes the principle of backlighting as well as backlighting inclination.It is proved that the backlight has a reasonable inclination angle of 30 °.This paper analyzes the original design scheme of lighting fixture layout within Bai Tao Tunnel Group,points out existing problems and then uses DIALux software to optimize its design.Optimized lighting fixture arrangements scheme is more energy-efficient than the original scheme.(4)This paper analyzes the lighting control system adopted in the design of Bai Tao Tunnel Group,points out its design problems,optimizes the designed lighting system of Bai Tao Tunnel Group,and design one LED variable adjusting luminance system,which combines traffic volume,vehicle speed and tunnel-outside brightness LED stepless dimming system,in order to achieve goals of safe operation and energy saving.
