Perilous rock and collapse disasters whichcaused by unsteady natural long-term development will bring many adverse effects,such as perilous rock affect the construction safety and construction process,in the process of the highway operation collapse will cause traffic disruption,affecting the traffic safety and personal security;At present,there are many researches on dangerous rock mass and collapse,but most of them tend to rational analysis,cannot quickly judge the stability of rock,so development a fast recognition method of perilous rock which based on appearance features and image features of rock to judge the stability of rock is very necessary.In this paper,the formation mechanism of dangerous rock is discussed,and the instability movement mode of dangerous rock is concluded,besides the formation mechanism of the rock is analyzed.based on those process,summed up the failure of dangerous rock movement model,and put a detailed analysis of each image feature of rock types,according to image feature will rock classification.The rock body image features to refine the classification based on the stress analysis,maintain its stable factors and accelerate the process of buckling instability factors summarized rock instability and collapse,external factors to establish library of environmental effect.This paper regard perilous rock as instability trends and effects of external conditions combined action,and established the evaluation index GSI to express rock instability trend(geometric stability index),and established the evaluation index EII(external influence index)to express the influence of the outside world impact.This paper introduces the calculation method of GSI and EII,analyzed the relationship between GSI and EII,establish the stability index RSI of rock(rock stability index)and the creation of the RSI formula,realize the integration of the dangerous rock image information and appearance features,the main results obtained:(1)the in-depth analysis of the formation mechanism and development model of rock;according to the instability of the movement trend perilous rock is divided into five categories,and based on the five basic image features,perilous rock is subdivided into further sixteen small class image features.(2)based on the analysis of the image characteristics of perilous rock,this paper sums up the unstable factors that lead to the instability of the unstable rock mass and the stability factors of maintaining the stability of the dangerous rock mass.(3)based on the study of rock structural plane occurrence information acquisition method,analyzed the structure of stereographic projection technology on rock surface information based on the judgment of rock instability tendency to obtain rock GSI,besides analyzed the stability and instability factors of perilous rock,established the evaluation index EII(external influence index)to express the influence of the outside world impact.(4)the GSI,EII and RSI of rock are obtained.
