The bearing capacity of pile foundation is mainly used for static load test,but for the expansion of the pile,because of its high bearing capacity,the need for high heap,not only take a long time,high cost and sampling results are unsatisfactory.This paper outlines the development of the pile,and introduced into the current situation and the results of research and expanding bottom pile experts and scholars at home and abroad,analyzes the classification belled piles,technical features and application of occasions,compared two methods for expanding bottom pile determine the carrying capacity.By using the finite difference numerical simulation software-FLAC3D,the establishment of a series of pile foundation model,simulation analysis shows that:in the same geological conditions pile diameter pile with bearing compared to the obvious advantages,applied 2512kN,0.8m diameter and diameter of pile settlement of 41.7mm,while the upper diameter 0.8m bottom lm pedestal the pile is only 7.3mm displacement.The results show that the belled pile can not be ground into the earth under the action of load,and the phenomenon of stress concentration is avoided.When the equal diameter pile reaches the ultimate bearing capacity,it is found that the displacement of the pile bottom of the belled pile is only 14.00m,which can still bear the upper load.Under the same pile length and pile diameter in the same soil,when the settlement is 20mm,the bearing capacity of the belled pile is 8 times that of the equal diameter pile.Under the same loading,the settlement of the belled pile is only 1/5.And with the increase of the load of the upper part of the pile top,the settlement of the pile bottom of the enlarged bottom pile is smaller than that of the vertical pile.The numerical simulation of the bearing capacity of the belled pile can be used for reference in engineering practice.
