In modern industry, the steam turbine plays a very important role in electric power industry. It can run normally related to our country's economic and social benefits. With the development of science and technology, the steam turbine technology has a rapid development and the speed and efficiency of turbine are greatly improved. As the power source in the generating groups, the security and stability of turbine affect the whole life of the steam turbine generating groups. In order to guarantee the safe operation of the power system, the premise to do is reducing the steam turbine generator outwork. The vibration of steam turbine rotor system has always been a big problem to the safe operation of generating groups. The steam turbine has a high running speed and its operating condition is bad, especially for the high back pressure steam turbine which increases the vibration of steam turbine rotor system. Therefore, the dynamics analysis of turbine rotor bearing system has an important theoretical significance and practical value. This paper briefly introduced the development of modal analysis theory and experiment as well as the achievements in the field of modality in China. The turbine rotor is selected as the modal analysis object, according to the specific size,we use the Solidworks to build solid model. And use the method of effective disk to simplify the model. The simplified calculation model was imported into ANSYS,and did finite element modal analysis. The first ten-order modal parameters of the rotor system are obtained after applying the bearing support constraint, then analyzed and evaluated the results. The DASP vibration test software was used to do model test for the actual turbine rotor, and verify the simulation of the rotor bearing system modal,to verify the reliability of the rotor system modeling and simulation results. On the basis of that, the effect of varying the stiffness of bearing support on rotor vibration is discussed, which can provide theoretical guidance for the design and operation of high back pressure turbine.
