In recent years,more and more applications of UHVDC transmission project have been developed.The problem of reactive power compensation for UHVDC converter stations is gradually highlighted.In the HVDC converter station,the large-scale camera is used as the local reactive power source,which can solve the problem of reactive power compensation.Control of large start-up condenser using automatic control system has important significance to improve the service life and reliability of large condenser,improve the level of automation and safety of power grid operation and reliable support.This thesis introduces the purpose,significance and development status of synchronous camera control system at domestic and overseas.This thesis introduces several startup modes and principles of large synchronous camera,the principle of automatic voltage control and the principle of synchronous grid connection.And according to the above principle,design a control system of a large synchronous camera.The control system adopts an embedded device,which can control one or more cameras with a hierarchical and distributed structure.The control system realizes the start stop,the automatic voltage regulation and the same period grid connection function through the control of the static frequency conversion device SFC,the excitation controller and the quasi synchronization device.Using hard wiring and communication to access critical data points,can communicate via a remote device or directly with the scheduler.The whole scheme is economical and reliable,and is suitable for most large-scale camera applications.The synchronous camera control system of UHVDC transmission realizes the automatic control of large synchronous camera.It can start and stop the synchronous camera reliably and quickly,and can adjust the voltage of the flow station and the network point.It provides effective support for reactive power of AC power grid,and make the camera in optimal operation state.It effectively improves the operation reliability and economy.
