The Cognition Of Urban Small-scale Space And Its Exploration On Landscaping

With the accelerated process of urbanization,at this stage,there is an increasing lack of public life in the city.The old town with rows of people was being marginalized and the scale of new town is huge,and the most of the small scale space with big potential after Greening was used to beautify the environment and rarely become public space to play for people's public life.But urban open space qualities related to urban quality of life.Small scale in modern times in the city as an important urban open space types,have a profound effect on urban life.Therefore,I choose "The cognition of urban small-scale space and its Exploration on landscaping—the exploration of space construction in Hohhot" as the topic and do some research and discussion on it.This article belongs to applied research work focused on two issues.First,we should have a good awareness about the small scale urban space and clear the value and importance of it.Secondly,the space is the final product of the garden design,during our design on a field.the first step is to create a space.Therefore,in this paper,I choose the green space among the high density of buildings next to the House and green space around the corner next to the road as the main study object and the analysis of the space as a clue to find out how to use the limited space best to create a good landscape effect.Through the analysis of excellent cases at home and abroad,summed up the principles and methods of the small scale space's landscape on the aspect of the space construction and guided to design better ultimately.That is:In the small scale-space landscape construction,firstly,the most basic thing is to have a clear,simple and explicit functional zoning;Secondly,for the parks beside the streets,the open spaces need to be effectively fenced;Next,in order to highlight the space quality and characteristics,we should select the reasonable,small and refined space elements;Then,for the small-scale space detail design,we should be meticulous,so that the space can be seen large,it is best to consider multi-directional to ensure that the good microclimate conditions;Finally,through changing the high difference,the space contrast,gathering the sight and so on,we can satisfy the use function and the ornamental demand of the small scale-space.The rational utilization of the small scale space in the city can make full use of valuable land resources.Its good landscape effect can enrich the urban landscape,and enrich people's outdoor activities and the activity space.It is also good at the development of the city.For some of the small scale space of the city,its area is small and dispersed,some of them is located in the densely built areas of the city and is accessible,during the design,relatively,it is easy to grasp.Therefore,using it as a starting point of the landscape study of the garden space,we can lay the foundation for the study in the future.
