The development of Jingpo nationality architecture is marginalized.The inner consciousness,such as self consciousness and ethnic identity of Jingpo are gradually weakened and replaced by the mainstream cognition.The traditional building is hence in a danger.It is necessary to study the architectural culture of Jingpo nationality in cultural records,protection and update.Dehong has the region with the highest number of the Jingpo nationality and the most diverse architectures.Geographic isolation of natural barrier breeds and maintains its distinctive ethnic culture,and the evolution of architecture shows clear stage features.The architecture of Jingpo nationality is a living fossil of Pile-dwelling.The thesis of Jingpo building is the research of original relationship between people and architecture.This thesis examines the group adaptation Change of people to building in unconscious taking Jingpo residential settlement to discuss combined effect of geographic,economict,social,culturaland contraction technology on the Jingpo Architecture starting from the origin of the nation to now.Based on the effects of the factors,this thesis analyzes the basic need of people,tries to extract the trend and evolutionary model of vernacular buildings,to further put forward the most essential relationship between people and building casting aside the influence of ideology,so as to guide and influence the direction and effect of adaptive development and to maintain the heritage and development of harmonious relationship between human and buildings.The thesis discusses about the possible method to protect and update the national architecture in a more active and modern way,that is,the free development taking unconscious villagers as the main body,the development design taking building renewal as the main guide,and the updating and protective development taking policy control as main method.
