With the development of society and economy as well as the increasing awareness of energy conservation and environmental protection,the power supply of the power system presents a trend of diversification.At the same time,with the increase of the demand for energy,the installed capacity of power system will be increased in order to meet the demand of load growth.The calculation of the balance of power consumption occupies a very important position in power planning and design work.And the complexity of power system and power shortage situation has brought new challenges to the power balance.So,based on the principle and method of calculation of the balance of power,it has a very important theoretical value and practical significance to study the the installed program design work in case of power shortage of multi-source power system.This paper analyzes the power balance principle and the calculation method of power output in hydro-thermal power system,and puts forward a kind iterative calculation method to determine the week adjustment coefficient of hydropower station in system,and the power balance calculation is extended to multiple power supply system,a kind of calculation method of determining the gas power output process is proposed at the same time;Secondly,according to the existing power gap,the maintenance optimization and power balance is combined,and an optimization model is developed to minimize the power gap.Using the improved successive approximation algorithm to solve the model,the calculation results prove that the adjustment and optimization of maintenance schedule can significantly reduce the system capacity gap.In this paper,the economic analysis of the different power supply schemes is given also,and the specific methods to calculate the hydro scheme and the thermal shceme of the power supply are proposed respectively.On this basis,the changes of construction cost and operation cost due to increasing the installed capacity of hydropower instead of thermal power output were studied,the experiment results show that the optimization adjustment of installed scheme can effectively reduce the total cost of the construction and operation of the system,which provides an important reference and basis for decision making of power supply scheme.
