In China,environmental pollution problem and energy shortage problem are increasingly serious.In order to solve these problem effectively,reducing the consumption of non-renewable energy such as coal and increasing new energy power generation have become the main development direction of modern power.However,wind energy and solar energy have the characteristics of fluctuation and randomness,a lot of new energy power generations interconnecting to the power grid will inevitably lead to the grid frequency fluctuation.Therefore,researching on automatic generation control system with new energy is significant.Firstly,in order to add more new energy interconnect to power grid,this paper analyzed two kinds of automatic generation control systems with wind power as a separate area.The first one is automatic generation control system with wind power interconnecting to power grid.In this system,load fluctuation caused by wind power plant dispatches to each of the thermal power unit in the system,thus realize a large number of wind power interconnecting to power grid.The other one is automatic generation control system with wind power as a schedulable power supply system.By adjusting the wind farm output,the system can realize the safe and stable operation of the new energy grid.Then,In order to better accept the new energy connecting to power grid,the automatic generation control system based on wind and solar hybrid grid is studied.When wind and solar power generation output could meet the load demand,the system will adjust the output of solar power generation.When wind and solar power generation output couldn't meet the load demand,other areas will complement load to achieve regional supply and demand balance.The new energy grid interconnected AGC has the characteristics of complex structure and high coupling degree.Finally,distributed predictive control algorithm is analyzed,and applied to three kinds of automatic generation control systems established in this paper.The simulation results show that the distributed predictive control algorithm has better control performance.
