As the renewable clean energy,wind,photovoltaic and hydropower have many advantages such as zero-polluting,widespread,abundant and so on.The multiple complementary microgrid constructed by distributed generation as wind,photovoltaic and hydropower can greatly improve the efficiency of the resource utilization.Therefore,this paper mainly focuses on the study of wind / photovoltaic / hydropower / storage multiple complementary microgrid,and discusses the hybird energy storage configuration and comprehensive benefit of complementary microgrid.This paper analyzes the basic structure and working principle of the distributed generation such as wind,photovoltaic and hydropower and battery,super-capacitor.The control strategy of the hybrid energy storage system is analyzed.MATLAB is adopted to carry out simulated test,the results verifies the rapid response capability of hybrid energy storage system and the effectiveness and correctness of the control strategy.This paper proposes a configuration method of hybrid energy storage capacity in microgrid containing wind,photovoltaic and hydropower.The method is based on the year output characteristic curve of wind,photovoltaic and hydropower and the entire network load curve.It sets purchase,operational maintenance and processing cost as the objective function,and considers multiple constraints including the system storage capacity.The method gets the optimal hybrid energy storage capacity of batteries and super-capacitors.Results show that hybrid energy storage has greatly reduced the purchase and operating cost when compared with the traditional battery energy storage.This paper proposes an optimization configuration method considering the complementary characteristics for hybrid wind / photovoltaic / hydropower microgrid system,and an evaluation system is setted up for the impact of complementary characteristics to the comprehensive benefits of microgrid.By adjusting the mode of distributed generation resources combination,this method gets the optimal capacity of wind,photovoltaic,hydropower and evaluates its comprehensive benefits.The results show that: Compared with the conventional microgrid,the energy storage system capacity is significantly reduced when the output of wind,photovoltaic and hydropower getting complementary,and the best comprehensive benefits of micro-grid were achieved at the same time.
