Closed Cycle Diesel Engine (CCDE) is a low-cost, high-efficient implementation of Air Independent Propulsion System(AIP).Performance and liability is ensured through implementation of exhaust gas processing unit. Implementation includes gas liquefaction method, alkali liquor absorption method and sea water absorption method among which sea water absorption is the most widely used. The main components in sea water absorption treatment method are cooler, rotating packed bed (RPB) and water management system(WMS).The thesis is based on spraying cooler and RPB. The research includes the following:1) Based on the CCDE experimental system, gas composition and its change in each component is described. Due to the complexity, two different simplifications are applied to the system and models according to that are established. Experiments are carried out to verify the models through comparing the absorption ratio.2) The scheme of the implementation of cooler is decided based on the practical application.Based on the implementation,the calculation model is set up using space discretization describing the inner heat transfer process. The model is realized using FORTRAN and MATLAB and it gives data and reference for the design of the spraying cooler. The design is carried out based on the scheme and the calculation model;3) Simulation is carried out based on the design. CFX fluid dynamic software is used and Euler-Lagrange two phase flow model is used to simulate the inner flow field. Analysis is carried out based on simulation results. The experiment rig is built. Experiment validation of the calculation model and simulation are done based on the rig. Also, different operation parameters including inlet gas condition, water amount are tested to see their effect on cooling effect;4) The simulation research is based on the rotating packed bed. Euler-Lagrange model is applied to solve the gas-liquid phase flow field in the model. Based on Higbie's percolation theory, gas phase source term is set up to simulate the process of water dissolving CO2.? Experiments are done to validate the simulation; Turn the operation parameters into dimensionless number and research the relationship of these dimensionless number and absorption ability through changing operation parameters.
