There are many rivers in our country. Floods occur frequently in various regions. it requi res people to build water conservancy project against these disasters. we must consider the de velopment of the sediment in the construction area and the evolution of the river bed before w e build these water conservancy facilities. Sediment problem research method is the main theoretical studies, laboratory experiments, field observation and numerical simulation.Due to the complexity of river channel evolution and numerous influencing factors, It is difficult to predict the accuracy of erosion and deposition. This article simulates the sediment scouring and depositionin in the middle reaches of where distribute many beach Island branc h a river. We can learn the existence of erosion or collapse the specific location of hidden and potential hazards from the analysis of numerical simulation results. This provides reference f or the protection of the development of the project. This paper introduces the principles of pro tective project and the protective engineering . in addition, according to the hydrodynamic m odel of the protective engineering. The paper analysis .the influence of protection engineering on water surface, flow rate and flow direction and so on.This paper summarizes the history of sediment numerical simulation, theory method and MIKE21 model feature combining with the river flushing evolution numerical simulation at domestic and abroad. Considering the loss of topographic data, the Google Earth remote sensing data would be adopted and apply 3d seven parametric method to transform and amend the elevation error. This way could obtain a good topographic data and solve the issue of topographic data loss. This paper builds the MIKE21 flow and sediment model integrated with the ten years of flow and sediment data and gives the reason of flushing evolution in complex region combining with the computing results of bifurcated and curve watercourse.Analyze the effect to the whole reach for the build protective engineering which doesn't alter the geomorphic and offer the important reference value of assessing the similar protective engineering.
