The channel engineering is a project to pump high quality water resource into irrigation district, it has an important reference value for construction and management of project to make numerical simulation study on entrance and approach in channel. The water-sediment condition changing and deposition of sediment around entrance of channel have an important influence on management of channel engineering and maintenance of channel dam. When the physical model experiment in a bind,it is great significance to evaluate and test the channel engineering through numerical simulation.As for the problem of some irrigation area diversion from some river in this article,basing on analyzing the hydrologic resource of research of river, topographic of channel engineering and geography information, integrate project design plan, utilizing the MIKE21 model software, carry out the numerical simulation of Two-dimensional water-sediment movement. Adopting the way of data analysis?integration of the theoretical analysis and numerical experiments, under river different water condition study on water discharge. water level? locality flow regime of the channel engineering in irrigation area. The more contents as follows:Establishing the depth-averaged two-dimensional hydrodynamic and sediment transport numerical model include the channel engineering of irrigation area and locality river reach,propose a new method to complement lack topographic in river simulation program, this way base on parameters from given project and limited topographic data, through model calibration and cross section shape to match design water line and determine the bed surface morphology, build the depth-averaged two-dimensional hydrodynamic and sediment transport numerical model. This way not only successfully settles the problem of the river locality lack topographic, and proposes an effective solution and technical reserve for solving other lack terrain.Confronting with lack of long series hydrologic data in sediment numerical simulation progress, conclusion a river of inter annual change rule, using the method of typical year combination to simulate the hydrological changes. This method better solves the lack of data in the progress of sediment numerical simulation on part of river, predicts the sediment deposition trend on irrigation entrance of channel, provides the reference for maintenance of channel operation.
