FDPSO is an offshore platform with the function of oilfield drilling, crude oil production,storage and output, which has the advantage of low development cost, short production cycle and flexible transportation. And FDPSO has been given considerable attention in the ocean engineering field. Due to the drilling system,FDPSO requires a higher ability of mooring positioning. And too large motion and load response will have adverse effects on drilling system and production system. Therefore a reasonable prediction of motion and load of FDPSO is needed. Based on the model test and numerical calculation method, the hydrodynamic performance of multi point mooring FDPSO is analyzed. The motion and load response of FDPSO in actual sea state are analyzed. The main contents are as follows:1) The hydrodynamic performance of FDPSO is calculated preliminarily by numerical method of hydrodynamic performance of floating structure. The characteristics of the motion response of FDPSO are analyzed, which provides reference for the design of model test.2) Based on the FDPSO with mooring system model test, the dynamic performance of FDPSO was analyzed and studied. According to the condition of the test basin,the design method of the equivalent truncated mooring system is studied.The simulation method of wind,wave and current load under the actual conditions of the marine environment is analyzed. By free decay test, characteristic of mooring system test, wind and current load test, white noise test, regular wave test and the test in combined wind, wave and current, The hydrodynamic performance characteristics of FDPSO are analyzed, and limitations of the equivalent water depth model test method are listed.3) Based on the results of model test, the FDPSO with mooring system is calculated in time domain, and the advantages and disadvantages of the model test method and numerical calculation method are studied. Based on the hybrid model testing method, combining a truncated FDPSO model test and numerical calculation, the motion and load response of FDPSO with multi point mooring system in the South China Sea conditions are calculated and analyzed statistically by numerical reconstruction and extrapolation, providing reference for the design of the FDPSO.
