With the development of social,the transportation by railroad is playing a more and more vital role in the people's daily lives.The train has been the major means of travel for people in our country.The steel rail is a extremely important part in the railroad system.When the temperature of the steel exposed in the field changes,there will be a temperature stress in the rails.The temperature stress that is enough large to force the steel to be out of shape can seriously threaten the train safely running.More and more seamless rails are used in railway systems.Because the reserved space of the seamless rail is very short,the changing temperature will bring more greater impact to the seamless rail than the traditional rail.In order to measure the rail temperature fast and exact,acquire the temperature changes of the rail,ensure the safety of the train, so designing a high precision and measure fast rail track thermometer has the very vital significance.At present,the rail track thermometer is mainly adopted thermocouple temperature measurement method.Data acquisition need 3 to 5 minutes to achieve the ultimate stability of the data.Infrared temperature measurement as a kind of common temperature measurement methods tend to be influenced by the temperature environment,and the accuracy in low temperature environment is very poor,and is not suitable for individual use in actual field measurement.The paper aims to optimize the probe structure and improve the response speed of the temperature measurement on the basic of the traditional temperature measurement and combining the characteristic of the rail track thermometer currently used. This paper analyzes the factors that influence the response time of thermocouple temperature measurement from the thermal contact structure and the heat exchange with the shell.Establishing mathematical analysis model and proposing a reasonable idea to improve the response speed of the probe.The structure of the probe is designed by two kinds of structures: the exposed end. and the closed type,Using ANSYS to establish the finite element model, combined with the use of the environment, analyzing the advantages and disadvantages of the two structures to select the more suitable structure for the outdoor environment.For software compensation algorithm,collects the temperature data by using the Lab VIEW software to obtain the data acquisition curve and mathematical analysis,proposes compensation algorithm of catastrophe self compensation and compensation of shell heat exchange. The early stage of temperature measurement will achieve the balance temperature estimate as far as possible and improve the response speed of temperature.
