In order to improve the utilization of furfural residues which is a kind of biomass waste,it was used to prepare the adsorbent and be liquefied by using phenol respectively.The preparation of furfural residue based biochar and liquefaction were studied by the method of single factor.Meanwhile,we explore the adsorption of furfural residues based biochar for removing tetracycline and oxytetracycline,and a good adsorption performance was obtained.The main contents are as follows:The first part is the preparation of furfural residues based biochar and its adsorption performance.In this paper,the biomass carbon was prepared by one-step,and the best process conditions were investigated by single factor.The biomass carbon prepared under the optimum process conditions was characterized.The results showed that the biochar surface is rich in a variety of functional groups.The maximum removal rate of TC/OTC was 98.0%and 95.5%with the initial concentration respectively.The maximum adsorption capacity was 162mg/g and 335mg/g for TC/OTC.The adsorption kinetics studies of TC and OTC all fitted well by the pseudo-second-order kinetics model that meaned the chemical adsorption was the main adsorption process,and there are many rate controlling steps for the adsorption.It was found that the adsorption isotherms of tetracycline fitted by the Freundlich adsorption isotherm model.For the oxytetracycline,the adsorption process was in accordance with the Langmuir adsorption isotherm model,and the maximum adsorption capacity was 323mg/g,which was very close to the theretical value(335mg/g).The second part is the study of liquefaction by using phenol.Using the concentrated sulfuric acid as the catalyst,the phenol was used as the liquefaction agent mixed with furfural residues in a certain proportion in the teflon-lined stainless steel autoclave.In order to improve the liquefaction rate,the optimum process conditions was explored in thermochemical liquefaction.There are esters,phenols and others in liquefied product by GC-MS and FT-IR analysis.
