Study On The Construction Characteristics Of River System Landscape In Xuchang City

Xuchang city,built by the water,is a famous historical and cultural city in the Central Plains.It was called "Lotus City" and its river system landscape like small West Lake and ten landscape of Xuzhou was well known in the world.However,the rapid urbanization process since the last century led to the river system landscape being ignored,and the city water environment and resources also arose a series of problems.In 2013,with the national attention to the city water control and develop work in recent years,Xuchang city in the light of the opportunity,implemented the“five lakes and four forest seas adjoin three rivers,two river rings and one water embellish the Lotus City”ecological water system plan in the central city,to build the distinctive river system landscape and remodel the "Lotus City"image.As a northern inland city,on the premise of the water resources shortage and water environment deterioration,Xuchang has created the"Lotus City famous of water"city name card.The characteristic of water system landscape construction is worth to further studying.This paper analyzed the classic cases at home and abroad on the basis of the change and distinctive construction on urban river system landscape,laying the theoretical foundation for this research.Secondly,the paper defined the related concept of urban river system landscape and summarized the composition,factors,classification,characteristics and function of the river system landscape,giving a comprehensive understanding of the urban river system landscape connotation.Finally,according to the river system landscape of Xuchang City,the paper analyzed the construction characteristics from its history change and landscape construction in new period through relevant data and on-the-spot investigation,and drew the following conclusion:The river landscape change of Xuchang city experienced the formation of water environment in remote antiquity,the prosperity water culture in ancient times,the restoration and promotion of water landscape in modern times,and the "water embellish the Lotus City" river system construction in new period,providing the basic guarantee for the contemporary ecological water landscape construction,leaving precious history cultural resources;Xuchang "water embellish the Lotus City" river system landscape in new period has the characteristics in habitat construction,picturesque scene effect and artistic conception creation with its urban history,present planning,future development,cultural resources and so on.It is hoped that the research of this paper can provide reference for the further improvement of the river system landscape in Xuchang and the characteristics construction of urban river system landscape in other similar city.
