With the continuous development of automobile technology, the demands of consumers for automotive NVH performance have become higher and higher, and the road noise performance when vehicles travel at a moderate speed on rough pavement is drawing more and more public attention, which is one of the most sensitive subjective feelings consumers feel of the vehicle overall qualities. High-quality vehicles have high-quality road noise performance characteristics, therefore during the automotive NVH performance development process, the research of road noise is of great significance. The incentive from automobile tires is not completely related, and the degree of correlation depends on the characteristics of the road. Taking into account the process of TPA test in road noise, each tire excitation source caused by the incentive from the road is a strong coupling path. To accurately reflect the actual road noise, researchers need to adopt multiple reference cross power spectrum measurement. Using the decoupling technology of multiple reference cross power spectrum to make the component decomposition, for example the method of Principal Components Analysis (PCA), with fewer variables to replace the original ones, can fully reflect the main relationship between the original variables. This paper is mainly based on the road noise of a certain type of vehicle, according to the method of Transfer Path Analysis (TPA), researchers have an experimental analysis on front auxiliary frame, rear auxiliary frame, shock absorber, damping spring, trailing arm and their body connection points. The acquisition of transfer functions and the recognition of load forces are based on the experiments of hammering method on Trim Body. To avoid the coupling of the system, the components directly coupled to the body, such as the powertrain mounting system and auxiliary frame, should be removed, and then calculate the data by the method of matrix inversion. Road noise and vibration are mainly related to the speed of a vehicle, also with the parameters of the tire and suspension system. When vehicles travel at a moderate speed, especially on rough pavement, road noise is the main source of excitation, thus the road test of the whole vehicle is needed, so as to collect the experimental data used in the analysis. Finally, combine with the vehicle model simulation analysis of CAE, the main contribution to the energy path as well as major contribution components will be found through all transmission paths, therefore, analyze for the road noise of a vehicle.
