In recent years,many countries are committed to the research of underwater weapons in order to improve the capability of naval equipment and underwater fighting capabilities.With the theory of supercavitation,the velocity of underwater torpedo and underwater projectile is greatly improved,which provides a broad application prospect for the development of underwater weapons.Up to now,the problems of underwater supercavitating projectile,such as instability and trajectory bending,have become the focus of the research and the difficulty to be overcome.There are many factors that affect the performance and instability of underwater Supercavitating Projectile,Such as the center of mass of the Projectile,the shape of the cavitator,the size of the cavitator and the length-diameter ratio.In this paper,the numerical simulation of ballistic characteristics of underwater Supercavitating Projectile is performed to analyze that which factor affects the stability and drag reduction characteristics.In this paper,we first introduce the theory of Supercavitation and the numerical calculation method of fluid dynamics.The Supercavitation theory and numerical calculation method can be used as reference for the motion simulation,and the underwater motion equation of the Supercavitating Projectile provides the theoretical basis for the 6DOF equation of the projectile motion.In the third chapter,according to the basic theory of the classical interior ballistic equations,the interior ballistics of underwater supercavitating weapon is analyzed and calculated.Through the comparison of the effects of two kinds of environment of interior ballistic results and analysis of interior ballistic parameters on underwater trajectory in the bore pressure and muzzle velocity,we get some theoretical basis,which provide some reference data for the subsequent Supercavitating Projectile under the outer ballistic characteristic analysis.The fourth and the fifth chapters using 2D and 3D simulation modeling and the use of Supercavitation Flow fine theory and 6DOF equation to study the drag reduction performance and stability of underwater supercavitating projectile.Based on the two-dimensional numerical simulation,the influence of different cavitation on the drag reduction performance of projectile is studied.The influence factors on the stability of Supercavitating Projectile are analyzed by numerical simulation.And the optimal design of projectile shape is also given.
