Permafrost area in China is one of the world's most widely distributed,the development of the alpine region construction in recent years urged experts and scholars to study freezing thawing rock properties,the traditional method of frozen soil mechanics to research rock freeze-thaw damage problem has been difficult to meet the engineering the actual need.The freeze rock would trigger a series of freeze-thaw disasters.Therefore,frozen rock problem has become a new research hotspot and difficulty.With the continuous development of highway in cold area,diseases produced by rock slope are widespread in the road along the route,joint fractured rock mass is a kind of rock and soil medium which is complex and widespread,the freeze-thaw cycle effect damaged jointed rock mass and led strength degradation in the fractured rock mass,rock mass deformation and failure directly affect the geotechnical engineering design,construction and operation safety.The article taken freeze-thaw damage of fractured rock mechanical properties and fracture mechanism as research object,using cement-silicon-mortar materials to make model,method of prefabricated rock fracture to simulate jointed rock mass,and through the freeze-thaw cycle test and compression test to explore the freeze-melt damage law of rock,the mechanical properties of freeze-thaw rock crack' initiation,development,coalescence and interaction under temperature effect.In this article,the main research cognition and results are as follows:(1)The main factors that affect the stability of the rock slope in the alpine region were analyzed,and the influence mechanism of the freeze-thaw cycle on the rock slope was revealed.(2)According to the similarity theory,combined with the mechanical characteristics of rock mass,and rock similar material mode was successfully made: cement-silicon powder-mortar materials.Adopted prefabricated crack in the material model to simulate jointed rock mass,and 10 kinds of fractured rock samples with different geometric characteristics were made.(3)Selected freezing thawing cycle rock damage variable D(n),and carried out the freeze-thaw cycle tests of rock,got the damage characteristics of rock,then took singleaxial compression test on rock and rock specimens;by analyzing the failure features of rock,the freeze-thaw damage value reveals the rock failure law and strength deterioration.(4)Carry out analysis of rock slope stability from the quantitative and qualitative perspective under freeze-thaw environment,compare rock' intensity changes through freeze-thaw cycle,make strength reduction on rock slope of the melting process,get the rock mass freezing thawing strength after conversion,thus getting parameters of rock slope for the stability calculation.Get the stability evaluation on rock slope of the alpine area due to rock slope strength law,Based on the application of numerical simulation software FLAC 3D to establish the simulation model of slope rock slope in alpine area under the freezing thawing environment,considering freezing thawing environment factors of slope stability.
