In the process of industrial heat transfer,the heat exchanger is an indispensable equipment and its application in oil refining,nuclear power,pharmacy,machinery and so on.With the rapid development of science and technology,energy savings become very urgent,in the waste heat utilization,sewage treatment and other fields,people began to develop and apply some new type of heat-exchange equipment.Therefore,the heat transfer efficiency,energy efficiency and the development of the new heat exchanger is of great significance.Heat transfer enhancement technology,which can significantly change the heat transfer exchanger of heat exchanger,the increasing use of resources and international crude oil prices,the technology can be rapid development.Based on this background,the numerical simulation of convective heat transfer and flow characteristics of a single phase liquid flow in a tube was carried out using deionized water as coolant.By using the finite volume method to discretize the control equations in the computational domain.In the whole region,and the flow field in the channel is solved by the method of solving the physical properties and the combination of the wall function method and the standard equation.Through the CFD numerical simulation method,this paper studies the effects of different heat fluxes and inlet velocities on the convective heat transfer and flow characteristics of the smooth tube.And the characteristics of pressure field,velocity field and temperature field are analyzed,the results show that the higher the inlet flow rate is,the higher the heat transfer characteristic of the pipeline is.The smaller the flow rate is,the larger the heat flux is,So the smaller the pressure drop is,the less the energy loss is.In this paper,the heat transfer tubes with different cross-sectional shapes with the same equivalent diameter are simulated and the influence of different cross-sectional shapes on the heat transfer characteristics of single-phase fluid is studied.The results show that The results show that the wall temperature decreases continuously along the direction of flow field,and the heat transfer performance of the rectangular cross section is better than that of the circular tube,which is lower than that of the square section.
