There is no transform in 500 kV Heli substation and the loads in station power system are supported by local power system,so the power supply reliability is low.Once station powered by a single line supply,it is need to a generator car rush to heli substation as a backup power which may generate a lot of waste of human and material resources.In summary,a feasible alternative plan is in urgent need.Adequate solar energy and space make it possible to build photovoltaic power generation system in heli substation.The problem of the fluctuation and randomness of photovoltaic outputs can be solved by microgrid technology.Therefrom the microgrid composed by photovoltaic power generation and energy storage batteries is a fantastic backup generator.First,the fundamental composition and control strategy of photovoltaic energy storage system are studied.The maximum power tracking control and inverter control strategy of pv inverter and the control strategy of energy storage converter are designed in the basic of equivalent circuit and mathematical model of photovoltaic battery,accumulator and inverter.Then,the system structure,load level,natural resources of 500 kV Heli substation are conducted research on which may lay the foundation for the design of photovoltaic energy storage system.The design includes access mode,operation mode,and pv and energy storage system capacity configuration,installation and location.The general steps of design of substation photovoltaic energy storage system are summarized.At last,operation control strategy and typical operation steps of microgrid states are analyzed and engineering tests are made.The experimental results show that,the designed photovoltaic energy storage system can operate in both grid-connected and islanded modes,steadily changing over from one mode to another,and increase the reliability of power supply.Photovoltaic energy storage system as a substation station power backup power is very reliable.The photovoltaic energy storage system designed in this paper is stable and effective,and generalized design steps can be applied to other substations,which is universal.
