With the development of economy and technology in electric engineering, electric power is bound to replace other form of traditional power due to its cleanness. And clean energy is swiftly replacing other form of traditional electric power as well. With more and more distributed energy connecting to power grid, conventional dispatch method is facing challenge. Smart grid is the grid for the future, which highlight the characteristics of information and cooperation. Demand manage is proposed as a concept to manage the resource on the demand side. To use this resource more effectively, it is required that we adopt the concept of demand dispatch. This paper is focused on the co-dispatch of the demand and electric power source such as wind turbine and traditional power plant. This paper firstly analyzed the co-dispatch system's key components and their function. Later the models of these components were set up and analyzed. These models are focused on the energy dispatch. This paper innovatively introduced user usage benefit, compensation method for demand dispatch and compensation varying mechanic to describe the nature and impact of demand-side resources. Through these procedure, the models of demand-side were established and can be calculated with the counterpart power-source models. The optimal target is to maximize the system benefit through the day-ahead dispatch. To achieve that this paper adopted PSO and made significant modification called particle rapid-converging method. After calculation, the method is validated as a very effective way to deal with the complex models. The calculation shows that the co-dispatch model can effectively deal with the fluctuation of wind energy and give a good result on demand load. At the end this paper further analyzed the impact of some parameters on the model. This paper shows the effectiveness of the co-dispatch model. The co-dispatch method can achieve a three-win state among the system, the demand-side and the power source.
