Transmission line design is a system engineering contains path selection,tower positioning,electrical design and other design work,the path selection and tower positioning is the basis of the circuit design,which directly related to the cost and the safety of the whole project.The route selection of transmission lines needs to consider the influence of geographical factors such as topography,temperature,wind speed,ice cover,and the distribution of artificial facilities such as the distribution of highway and railway,large-scale construction group and so on.The traditional manual for path selection and tower position,is designing and drawing on the map and the final plan is depending on the designers business level and work experience.After selecting on the map,designers determine the final path through field survey selected lines,then according to the plane section along the path selected,choose the tower type,tower height and tower position.This design way has the following drawbacks:first,the map now use is obsolete,unable to reflect the updated landform information quickly,so that the design is not accurate deviation;second,depending on the subjectivity of the designers,can not guarantee the scientific and economic results;third,the relationship between the adjacent tower tower is very close,a tower's type,height or position change may cause the chain reaction to produce a new scheme,which make it easy for designers to make mistakes.Therefore,it is an inevitable trend in the development of transmission line design to obtain the geographic information of the planning area by modern technology,and to design the transmission line by using the computer.Firstly,this paper gets the geographic information of remote sensing image by using RS technology,using GIS as a data processing platform,assess the effect of each geographical factors on the transmission line as level,use the fuzzy analytic hierarchy process to quantify and integrate the map grid in complex geographic information,establish geographic information evaluation model which provide the data base to automatic computer transmission line path selection.Secondly,according to the characteristics of RS grid map,choose the ant colony algorithm as intelligent algorithm of path selection of transmission line,and improve the ant colony algorithm according to the characteristics of transmission line design,integrate the variable step across mechanism,double ant colony mechanism and inflection point processor system into ant colony,which can make algorithm consider both global and local so that search results will be more scientific and accurate.using GIS to export the section derived data,according to the nature of the problem of tower location belongs to multistage decision,using particle swarm algorithm,from the overall situation to avoid the cumbersome process of one by one tower which is easy to cause the disadvantages by local optimization,and according to the characteristics of the tower positioning verification through mathematical simulation verification steps to realize the automatic positioning function of tower.Finally,using c#2010 and ArcGIS Enigne developed a selection path of transmission line program and tower automatic positioning program,and through the RS data and DEM data of a 220 kv transmission line in Chongqing to verify the effective of these two program.
