The memristor is introduced as the fourth basic circuit element in addition to the three passive devices:resistance, inductance, and capacitance.Because of its special memory function,it can remember the charge information flowing through it,and it has been widely used in various kinds of circuit research by domestic and foreign scholars. The emergence of memristor is possible to change the traditional circuit pattern, will greatly rewrite the circuit design methods. In this paper, the model building of the memristor is studied,an adaptive PI controller is designed based on the voltage type memristor and the current type memristor, which is applied to the control of the DC-DC converter.Based on all above objectives, this paper has an in-depth studying to the system, that is decided into three parts.1.The circuit simulation model of the voltage type memristor and the SPICE model of the current type memristor is built on the Multisim13.0 platform according to the characteristics of memristor. The simulation results show that both the voltage type memristor and the current type memristor meets the volt ampere characteristics of memristor, which can be used to study the circuit characteristics of memristor.2.An adaptive PI controller is designed based on voltage type memristor and current type memristor.Through applying input voltage and load disturbance for DC-DC converter, the effectiveness of the proposed controller is verified by comparing the experimental results with those of the conventional PID controller. The simulation and experimentation results show that the proposed adaptive PI controller has better robustness compared with the conventional PID controller, and can be applied to nonlinear time-varying power electronic systems with uncertainties and disturbances.3.The proposed controller is applied to the converter system with constant power load.Using the conventional PI control of the Buck converter for constant power load simulation experiments, the simulation results show that the adaptive PI controller can be applied to converter system with CPL.
